To add a custom Department attribute in Microsoft Office and map
it in ENOVIA, for Microsoft Office side, do the following:

Open a document in Microsoft Office.

Click File > Properties > Custom.

Add a Custom attribute called Department (text attribute) and
specify an Accounts value.

To add a custom Department attribute in Microsoft Office and map
it in ENOVIA, for ENOVIA side, do the following:

In ENOVIA define an attribute called
Department (string type).
Note:
Name can be different.

Add the attribute Department to the relevant ENOVIA types.

For supporting Microsoft Office to ENOVIA attribute transfer,
map this Department attribute in MCADInteg-CADToMxAttribMapping attribute of
Global Config Object. In this case the mapping will be:
msword,Department|MS Word Document,Department
For supporting ENOVIA to Microsoft Office attribute transfer,
map Department attribute in
MCADInteg-MxToCADAttribMapping attribute of
current Global Config Object. In this case the mapping will be: MS Word
Document,Department|msword,Department
With these settings, if a user sets Department attribute in
Microsoft Office document , it will be transferred to ENOVIA and back.
Alternatively, the user can synchronize the attribute using
Synch Attributes.
