Installing Collaboration for Microsoft on the Server

You can install Collaboration for Microsoft on a designated server.

Before you begin:
  • For Microsoft Project Integration, Project Management must be additionally configured on the server, otherwise, the buttons in the Project Operations section of the 3DEXPERIENCE ribbon in Microsoft Project (in the Collaboration for Microsoft client) will not be available.
  • ENOVIAIntegrationExchangeFramework (IEF) must be installed before installing the Collaboration for Microsoft server. IEF is available standalone, and also as a part of X-CAD Design Foundation and ENOVIA-UnifiedX-CADDesignManagement. If the administrator installs standalone IEF, X-CAD Design Foundation, or ENOVIA-UnifiedX-CADDesignManagement, after installing Collaboration for Microsoft server, it results in a loss of modifications done by Collaboration for Microsoft server. To restore the modifications, install the Collaboration for Microsoft server again.
