Configuring Autoclau

You can configure Autoclau to use it with Collaboration for Microsoft.


Before you begin: In the system tray, click the Collaboration for Microsoft and click Settings. The Collaboration for Microsoft Client Configurations dialog box appears.
Note: You can also double-click Collaboration for Microsoft to open the Collaboration for Microsoft Client Configurations dialog box.
  1. From the Autoclau Configuration section, configure the following options.

    Configuration OptionsDescription
    Word Document PasswordType the password to protect the word document.
    Server Checkout Directory Type the location on the server where you want to save the checked out files. This configuration is required to run Autoclau in server mode. The working folder on the client computer must be the same location as the shared location on the server.
    Working FolderBrowse and select the working folder to save the downloaded files. The files that need to be processed through Autoclau are checked out and saved in this folder.
    Focus on files from this HostType the name of host that processes the files.
    Run as serviceThis check box is selected by default to run Autoclau in service mode. In service mode, objects are automatically processed from the set. You can define the time interval after which the service must run to process new objects added to the set.

    Clear this check box to run Autoclau in manual mode. You have to select the objects manually to process them. The service stops after the objects are processed.

    IntervalSpecify the time interval after which the application must run.
    Server ModeSelect this check box to run Autoclau in server mode. In this mode, objects are checked in and checked out using MQL.

    Clear this check box to use web-services check-in and check-out objects.

    TriggerSelect this to disable the trigger. This setting activates to process the object with trigger on or off.
    Note: This option is applicable only if triggers are attached to an object being processed, they may be executed during processing.
    Remove from set on completion When this check box is selected, the objects are removed from the set after it is processed. This check box is selected by default.
    Show Office applications while runningSelect this check box to display Microsoft Office applications while running Autoclau.
    Send mail on errorWhen this check box is selected, an email is sent to the user if an error occurs. You can view the mail in the Messages section of the server web page or in your emails inbox if the server is configured to deliver to the user's inbox. This check box is selected by default.
    Interactive error dialogWhen this check box is selected, a message appears when an error occurs. This check box is selected by default.
    Enable Log When this check box is selected, logs for process flaw are generated. The logs are generated at the same location as other client logs. This check box is selected by default.
    Formats List the object formats to be processed by Autoclau. Type the format name and click Add. To remove a format, select the format and click Remove.

  2. Click OK.

The Autoclau preferences are configured.
