  1. From the Microsoft Office application, navigate to the 3DEXPERIENCE ribbon.
  2. Click Save .
The Save in Database dialog box appears.
  3. Do the following:
    1. Enter the comments.
    2. Select the Retain Lock checkbox to maintain the locked status of the document.
    3. Select the Delete Local Files checkbox to delete the local copy saved in your working folder.

You cannot check in an unlocked document or a document locked by a different user.

The file is checked in and saved in 3DEXPERIENCE. A confirmation message appears. When you check in a file using the Save feature, it saves a new version of the file by default.

On premises only: Your Business Administrator can modify an attribute in the GCO to change this behavior.
