Configuring Windows Explorer

You can configure Windows Explorer preferences to use with Collaboration for Microsoft.

Before you begin: In the system tray, click the Collaboration for Microsoft and click Settings. The Collaboration for Microsoft Client Configurations dialog box appears.
Note: You can also double-click Collaboration for Microsoft to open the Collaboration for Microsoft Client Configurations dialog box.
  1. In the Display Options section, configure the following options.

    Show Details View

    When this check box is selected, the Details pane is displayed by default. This check box is selected by default.

    Show Preview

    When this check box is selected, the Preview tab in the Details pane is displayed. This check box is selected by default.

  2. In the Preferences for Drag and Drop section:

    • Select Keep a copy of the object at original location during drag and drop or move operation between 3DEXPERIENCE folders check box to keep a copy of the object.

  3. Click OK.

The preferences are updated in the app.
