Uploading a Completed JAMA/JAPIA File

You can post a completed or filled-out JAMA/JAPIA data file.


Before you begin: The JAMA/JAPIA form must be completed.

  1. Select Actions > Upload Completed JAMA/JAPIA File.

    The Existing Uploads section lists files that you previously uploaded, and provides this information for each file:

    Column NameDescription
    File NameThe file name of uploaded file. Click the file name to view the log file from the upload process. For failed uploads, use the information in this file to determine how to fix the issue.
    TimestampThe date and time of the upload.
    Requester Part NumberThe host company's part number.
    Requester Part NameThe requester part name.
    Supplier Part NumberThe supplier part number.
    StatusThe status of the upload.

  2. Click Choose File and select the JAMA/JAPIA CSV file you want to upload.
  3. Click Upload.
    The Materials Compliance Supplier Portal analyzes the CSV file to ensure that all required fields and sections have been completed.

The app adds the file to the Existing Uploads list including the upload status. The status initially shows as Waiting until the JAMA JAPIA program completes processing the files.
