Creating a Form Ejection Component Reservation

Form Ejection Component Reservation defines a group of positions for an Ejection Component of a given type relatively to a cutting surface.

  1. Select a cutting surface and a support plane.
  2. In a product with several Skeletons, select one.
  3. Optional: Edit the name of the Form Ejection Component Reservation.
  4. Select the expected type of Ejectors from the Types browser.
  5. In a Mold Project, select a Side from the list.
  6. In the other cases, or to modify the proposed cutting surface:
    1. Click once to highlight the cutting surface, if any.
    2. Click twice to select one.
    3. Click again to exit the selection mode.
  7. In the other cases, or to modify the proposed support plane:
    1. Click once to highlight the cutting surface, if any.
    2. Click twice to select one.
    3. Click again to exit the selection mode.
  8. Under Dimensions, define the dimensions of the reservation spaces.
  9. Select Free Diameters to apply a different diameter to the positions of Ejectors.

    Note: Changing the status of Free Diameters resets the positions and delete any sketch definition.

  10. Click Sketch Points to define the positions of the components.
  11. Click the color patch to apply a color to the representation of the Ejectors.
  12. In the Content tab, enter a prefix used to name and order the Ejectors.
  13. Click Export to export the Form Ejection Component Reservation data to a .csv file.
