Create a Multiple Layout Insert from an Insert Unit with Generative Inserts

Multiple Layout Inserts creates a Multiple Layout Insert from an Insert Unit with generative Inserts (No template is required).

You can switch from one pattern type to another, but the previous pattern is lost.

  1. Choose a pattern type to position the Prints.
  2. For a rectangular pattern, define:
    • The distance along the X-axis (L) between two consecutive Prints (Spacing in X).
    • The distance along Y-axis (W) between two consecutive PrintsPrints (Spacing in Y).
    • The number of instances (Prints) along X-axis (L) (Nb Instances in X).
    • The number of instances (Prints) along Y-axis (W) (Nb Instances in Y).
  3. By default, the spacing is computed as the distance between the bounding boxes of two instances. Select Switch to spacing between centers to compute the spacing as the distance between the centers of two instances.
  4. Optional: On the context toolbar, apply a rotation to the Print.
