Cooling Circuits
- A Cooling Circuit is a set of Cooling Channels.
- A Cooling Channel of a Drilled Cooling Circuit is materialized by a straight hole between two points. It is linked to an invisible Drill Hole (the one required to drill the Cooling Channel).
- A Cooling System is a typed part that aggregates one or several Cooling Circuits.
- Connector Plugs and O Rings may be required to seal the Cooling Circuit.
- A Cooling Part is a product belonging to the Tooling Flow discipline.
- A Cooling Circuit created before V6R2013x cannot be edited nor deleted.
To create a Cooling Circuit, you need to activate a valid part:
- A Cooling Part or a product containing a Cooling Part: The Cooling Circuit is created in this Cooling Part.
- A Cooling System or a product containing a Cooling System: The Cooling Circuit is created in the Cooling Part found under the Cooling System.
- A Core Print or a Cavity Print, an Ejection Side or an Injection Side: The Cooling Circuit is created in the Cooling Part found under them.
- An Insert Unit, a Multiple Layout Insert or a Mold Project: The Cooling Circuit is created in the Cooling Part found under the Core Print, if it exists, or under the Cavity Print otherwise.
