Editing a Comment

You can edit comments on template definitions inputs and parameters.

Before you begin: An input or a parameter must be available for selection in the tree.

  1. Select an input or a parameter to which you want to add the comment.
  2. Click Edit Comment or, in the tree, right-click the input or the parameter to be edited and click Edit Comment.

    The Comment Editor dialog box appears.

  3. Type your comment and click OK to close the Comment editor.
    Important: Comments are displayed in a tooltip at instantiation time whenever an input or a parameter is selected.
