Associate a Picture to an Engineering Template
You can associate an image to the template. This image appears when instantiating the template.
Before you begin: To add an image to your template, you must first:
- Store your image in a Know-How Apps resources container.
- Reference the Know-How Apps resources representation in a Data Setup table. When editing the table, the resource type for Know-How Apps resources is "Directory." For more information, see Creating a Resource Table.
- Associate your resource table to a collaborative space. For more information, see Development and Configuration: 3DEXPERIENCE Open: Common Tools: Data Setup: Associating a Package to a Collaborative space.
- Create your engineering template.
- Click the Properties tab.
- Fill in the boxes in the Image frame.
- Complete the Resources Set Name field. The entered name is the same (internal name) as the one entered in Data Setup. For example: KnowledgeResources if you referenced the resources representation in the Knowledge Resources set.
- Enter the data in the Directory name field. The entered name matches the logical name of the resource container: KnowledgeResources if you referenced your icon in a Knowledge Resources table. For example: MyPicturesResources.
- Enter the image name along with its extension. For example, GearBox.png.
