Saving an Engineering Template in a Catalog

You can can save engineering templates in catalogs.

A catalog is a container of links to objects on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. It uses underlying chapters to sort data. Catalogs are used to simultaneously export bundles of data. Frequently used catalogs are stored and accessed from the catalog browser across multiple applications.

Placing Engineering Templates within Catalogs allows access to context-sensitive libraries of templates and reduces the number of clicks required to locate the appropriate template and run the instantiation. Additionally, a catalog of templates can be exported in one action.
