Importing a dataset into Metrics Reader may fail. This topic lists all the error messages that may be displayed and the possible cause to help you fix the issue.

Error Message Possible Cause
Please upload a valid file. Your file may be too large.
The format of your file may not be supported.
Your file may contain data that do not correspond to the data type you selected at 1 - Select data type.
Your file may contain additional information besides your data.
Your file may contain a blank row between the header row and the rows that contain the data.
Your file may include cells that span multiple rows or columns.
Your file may have an uneven number of columns for each row.
We are very sorry :( An unexpected error has occurred. Please contact the support or try again later. The URL you entered for a cloud-based source may be unreachable or invalid. The URL of your file must be reachable by NETVIBES. In most cases, you can check if your file is reachable by accessing it from your browser's address bar. However, this check may not always be accurate as you may be on a private network that allows your browser to access your file while preventing NETVIBES from doing so.
An error has occurred, please try again later or contact the support. The date format of your qualitative time series data may be in an unsupported format.
Your file may contain data that do not correspond to the data type you selected at 1 - Select data type.
When a cloud-based Quantitative Time-series MisoData is crawled, the new date may not match with the date format you selected during the configuration.
Authorization RequiredThe URL you entered cannot be reached by Metrics Reader because it is protected by credentials.
