Linking and Revoking Social Media Services

You must link your 3DEXPERIENCE platform to your personal Twitter account to be able to add content from public Twitter accounts to your Corpus Manager.

Notes:
  • Corpus Manager never publishes any content on Twitter.
  • Twitter is a third-party service and, as such, may become unavailable at any time without notice.
  • Your 3DEXPERIENCE platform must have access to the internet.

Link a Twitter Account

  1. In Edit mode, select Add content 3 > ‸ Public Profile.
  2. Click Add a Twitter account now.

    This command does not appear if you have already linked your 3DEXPERIENCE platform to a Twitter account.

  3. Follow Twitter's instructions to link your 3DEXPERIENCE platform to your Twitter account.

Your Twitter account is linked to your 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Your Twitter username and a revoke access command both appear at the bottom of the page.

Note: Your Twitter username and the revoke access command only appear on your own Corpus Manager; they do not appear on the Corpus Manager of any other user, even when you are on a synchronized dashboard.

Revoke Access

You can revoke your 3DEXPERIENCE platform's access to your Twitter account at any time.

Warning:
  • Your Social Analytics and Tracked Topic widgets that depend on the Twitter account you are about to revoke will no longer be able to retrieve any new content from Twitter.
  • Any 3DEXPERIENCE platform services that depend on the Twitter account you are about to revoke will no longer work.
  • The Libraries you are a member of will no longer be able to retrieve Twitter content if no other member has linked their own Twitter account to their 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

  1. In Edit mode, select Add content 3 > ‸ Public Profile.
  2. At the bottom of the page, click Revoke Access next to the associated Twitter account username.
  3. On the Confirmation dialog box, click Confirm.
