Historization

When any of the sources that have been selected during the configuration of the Social Analytics widget publishes new content, Social Analytics updates its chart accordingly.

Social Analytics charts this content over a five-year period from the widget's configuration date. It means that, if you configure a Social Analytics on DD/MM/YYYY, it will start deleting old data on DD/MM/YYYY+5.

Content Retention

Social Analytics also allows you to open and read the content it has based its values on by clicking a chart point and then clicking Read articles. These articles remain available for reading according to your 3DEXPERIENCE platform retention period.

About Chart Tooltips

When you hover over a chart point, a tooltip appears to show you details about the point you are hovering. When this point is older than the retention period and the query of the widget is not filtered on an expression, you will see xxx (yyy available), where:

  • xxx corresponds to the value Social Analytics has charted. Social Analytics saves this value for 5 year.
  • yyy corresponds to the number of articles that you can still open and read by clicking the point and then clicking Read articles.
