Transforming Objects

Transformation lets you transform sketched or traced curves, as well as imported images.

Before you begin: Create a sketched or vector curve, or import an image support. Import an image.
  1. Select the curve(s) or image support(s):
    • To select a single curve or image support, tap it.
    • To select several curves or image supports, cross them out.
    The selected curves or image supports are highlighted, and a 3D manipulator appears. If all selected elements lie on the same plane, the manipulator is planar. Otherwise, the manipulator is cubic.
  2. To define the orientation mode, right-click the corner of the handle's plane and click one of the following:
    OptionDescription
    Snap Snaps the manipulator on the global axis system. At least one direction of the manipulator follows the canonical axis and the normal is kept.
    Local Axis Snaps the manipulator on the local axis.
