Creating Symmetrical Objects

You can create new curves or images, symmetrical to existing ones.

Before you begin: Create a sketched or vector curve, or import an image support. Import an image.
  1. From the standard area of the action bar, tap Symmetry.
  2. Select the curve(s) or images:
    • To select a single curve or image, tap it.
    • To select several curve(s) or images, cross them out.
The symmetrical curve(s) or images are created, and a symmetry plane appears.
  3. Optional: Use the handles to change the position of the plane:
    • To translate the plane along its normal direction, drag the central blue area.
Note: You can do this only when the current view is not parallel to the selected plane.

    • To rotate the plane around its axis, drag the edges of the plane.

The position of the plane is modified accordingly. Other elements in your design remain in their original position.
  4. When you are satisfied, tap anywhere on the screen to validate.
