You can size, measure and scale an image by modifying the distance between two defined points on this image.
From the Images section of the action bar, tap Image Edition.
To define the manipulation direction, do either of the following:
Select two points on the same image. The
manipulation direction is defined horizontally or vertically by the canonical
directions of the image.
A handle and a dimension value appear.
You can switch the direction by clicking .Horizontal direction Vertical direction
Press Ctrl and select two points on the same image.
Only one manipulation direction is available, and it is defined by the selected points.
To change the dimension, do either of the following:
Enter a value in the field and press Enter.
Drag the handle.
Tip:
Use the Alt key to drag it symmetrically from a fixed center or the Shift key to drag it step by step.
Tap in the work area to reset the command.
Resize an Image Using a Geometric Element
You can align two points belonging to respectively an image and a geometric element (such as another image, a point, a line, and so on) to scale these two images and make them fit each other.
From the Images section of the action bar, tap Image Edition.
Select a first point on the first image as the anchor point.
Select a second point on another image or geometry.
The selected geometry translates so that the anchor point and the picked point are aligned in the image plane.
Notes:
You can repeat this step as much as needed.
You can also select the first two points on the first image and the next two points on the second image.
Select a second point on the first image.
The scaling handle appears on the image.
Select another point on another image or geometry.
The selected geometry scales so that the second point and the picked point are aligned. The angle between the anchor point and the fourth point is kept.
Note:
You can repeat this step as much as needed.
To modify the resolution of the image, press the pen button bound to the
right-click of the pointer and tap the image edge.
The Image Resolution panel appears and
displays the possible available resolutions.
