You can extrude a set of sketch or trace curves. This
set is duplicated and connecting curves are automatically generated between these two sets.
Before you begin: Create a sketched
or vector curve, or import an image
support.
From the Standard section of the action bar, tap Lineic Extrusion
.
Select the set of curves and use the handle to extrude them.
Connecting curves are generated between the extreme and
maxima points of the two profiles.
Notes:
Trace curves are created provided the
initial curves were trace curves. However, no sketch curves are created provided the
initial curves were sketch curves.
Colors applied on curves are also
duplicated.
To define the orientation mode, right-click the corner of the handle's
plane and click one of the following:
Option
Description
Snap
Snaps the manipulator on the global axis system. At least one
direction of the manipulator follows the canonical axis and the normal is
kept.
Local Axis
Snaps the manipulator on the local axis.
Transform the selected curves by performing either of the
following operations:
Resize the curves by dragging the corners or the edges of the handle's plane.
Translate the curves along the directions of the handle.
Translate the curves along the normal of the handle.
Rotate the curves using the center point of the handle.
Transformation operations are also available by double-tapping the image, and
through Modify.
