Activation of B.I. Essentials
B.I. Essentials can be activated for implement link analysis either after selecting an object in the 3D or tree, or even without selecting any object.
If an object was selected before the quadrant is activated, it is highlighted in the tree as well as in the 3D view. Links analysis is made from this object.
If no object is selected when the quadrant is activated, all elements in 3D view are colored gray, but remain available for selection. Links analysis can then be done for any of these objects, as soon as an object is selected.
After B.I. Essentials activation, objects linked to the selected object are colored as follows:
- Green: Implementing object
- Blue: Implemented object
- Yellow: Implemented and implementing object
- Orange: Not linked
- Gray: Not implemented by selected objects
Selection of any other gray colored object is taken into account and a display update shows the linked objects for this new selected object. Previously colored objects are gray in this case, if they are not linked to the new selected object.
When B.I. Essentials is activated, a label is displayed for the selected object. The content of this label is as follows:
- Icon and name of the selected object
- Number of implemented and implementing objects, displayed on different lines
It is possible to select several objects and then activate the command through the B.I. Essentials panel.
Once Implement links analysis is selected in B.I. Essentials, it is possible to click on each label to select the implementing and implemented objects in addition to the manually selected objects.
It is possible to combine the selection of the objects associated with different link analysis labels by holding the Ctrl key and clicking on the different labels.
