Deactivating Baseline Triggers for Engineering Apps

The solution for your installation can be either baseline behavior (the baseline people, organization, and content configuration and rules) or customer-specific environment (CSE) (advanced people, organization, and content configuration and rules). Baseline triggers are installed and activated for both solutions.

If you need to replace the baseline behavior on Engineering Apps types (more precisely, all derived PLMReference types), you might need to deactivate the baseline triggers.

  1. In an MQL window, run these commands:

    set context user creator password <password>;
    demote bus "eService Trigger Program Parameters" "3DX_TypePLMEntityChangeOwnerCheck" "-";

  2. Log into the 3DDashboard as a user with administrator privileges.
  3. In the Collaborative Spaces Configuration Center widget, click Configuration Deployment.

    You can open this widget from the compassCompass, or you might have added it to a dashboard.

  4. Click Access Rules and perform these steps:
    1. In the Modify Operations section, make sure the Lock Definition content at creation option has no value selected.
    2. In the Lifecycle Operations section, make sure these options are disabled:

      Prevent users from creating a major revision if one is already in work
      When creating a major revision, automatically share content with other users
      When creating a minor revision, automatically share content with other users

  5. In the Collaborative Spaces Configuration Center widget, click Configuration Deployment.
  6. In the Configuration and Server Utilities section, click Reload Cache.
