Managing Disciplines

Administrator users can create disciplines and sub-disciplines.

Disciplines are only available for the customer-specific environment solution.

In native apps, users log into a collaborative space. They then have access to the resources related to that collaborative space. In addition, they can select to switch between disciplines as needed to access the resources available to a discipline.

You cannot delete or edit disciplines using the console. For more information, see Behavior: Resource Sets.

Collaborative Spaces
  1. In the Manage P&O and Content console, click Advanced .
  2. Click Discipline .
    The page lists the defined disciplines.
  3. To create a discipline:
    1. Click Add.
    2. Enter the name of the discipline in the Add a discipline text box.
    3. Click Save.
  4. To create a sub-discipline:
    1. Click the name of the parent discipline. The page shows the current list of sub-disciplines for that discipline.
    2. Click Add.
    3. Enter the name of the discipline in the Add a discipline text box.
    4. Click Save.
