Searching for Roles

Administrator users can search for roles to review their definitions. You can search for roles when using the customer-specific environment solution. You cannot use the console to edit role definitions.

  1. In the Manage P&O and Content console, click Advanced .
  2. Click Role . The Search tab is active.
  3. Enter search criteria for the role name and click Search .

    The search results list these details for each role:

    Column Name Description
    Name The role name.
    Description Descriptive text about the role.
    Parent The name of the role this role inherits from.
    Child Any child roles defined for this role.
