Extruding Profiles from Networks
In the Pad Definition and Pocket Definition dialog boxes, you can select Thick check box to use options available under Thin Pad and extrude profiles from networks.
Thickness 1 and Thickness 2 are defined.
Merge Ends:
Select the Merge ends check box to trim the extrusions to an existing material.
Note:
The creation order of the different elements constituting the profile never affects the resulting extrusion.
How Extrusions are Trimmed
In the following example, the network goes beyond the edges of the 3D shape.
The initial profile is made of two intersecting lines.
The app trims extrusions to the faces of the pocket.
