Creating Fillets Using Vertex Selection

You can create fillets on three concurrent edges by selecting the common vertex.


Before you begin: Open a 3D shape representation with three concurrent edges.
  1. From the Refine section of the action bar, click Edge Fillet .
    The Edge Fillet Definition dialog box appears.
  2. Select the common vertex of the three concurrent edges to be filleted.
    The three edges are added to the Object(s) to fillet box.
  3. Define the required Radius.
  4. To access the Blend corner(s) option click More>>.
  5. Right click the Blend corner(s) box and se lect Create by Edges or Vertex.
    The resulting edge fillets are created by edges.

    With Blend Corner(s)

  6. Define the setback distance in Active setback box.

    Tip: You can select Edit multiple setback values from the context menu of the Blend corner(s) option to edit setback values of several corners.

    The edge fillets are created. EdgeFillet.x node is added to the tree.
