Executing a Graphical Scenario

You can use a graphical scenario to manage an experience execution. The following task presents how to use a graphical scenario and the acceleration factor.

Before you begin:
  • Execute a system experience. For more information, see Executing a System Experience.
  • Write a scenario containing a variable, which changes value after 61 minutes.
  1. From the layers monitor, click Scenario .
  2. From the Scenario section of the action bar:
    1. Click Open and select the scenario to be opened.
      The scenario appears.
    2. Click Run Scenario .
  3. To start execution, click Play from the Execution section of the action bar.
  4. To refine the visualization of variable changes, from the Execution section of the action bar:
    1. Click User Defined Acceleration Factor .
    2. Enter 60 for the acceleration factor.
    3. Wait a few seconds and click Real Time before reaching the trigger value.
    4. Optional: To visualize the variable changes, click Open Experience Tree .

The scenario is animated according to the state of the scenario. Control ports, links, and blocks are animated depending on the progression of the scenario execution. Error messages could appear during the execution.
