Columns

Name Description

Name

The name of the resource request.

Indicates that there are assigned resources for the request. Hover over the icon to see the names of the assigned resources.

State

The state of the resource request. Values can be Draft, In Work, In Approval, Completed, and Rejected. Only a Project Lead has access to the Draft and Rejected states. Once a Project Lead submits the resource request, it advances to the In Work state for further processing by the Resource Manager.

Skills

The preferred skill of the resource.

Resource Pool

The resource pool to which the resource request is made to acquire the resources.

Std Cost/Hr

The standard cost per hour for this request.
[Timeline] For the FTE filter, the FTE value is calculated based on the following formula: FTE of a month on the timeline = (number of working days in that month for that request / total working days in that month) * requested FTE. For example, for a task with 10 days duration in a 20 day working month, a resource request is created with FTE value 2. FTE value = (10 / 20) * 2 = 1. The value 1 is displayed in the corresponding month on the timeline.

The costs filter shows the hours multiplied by the rate. The values in the properties file determine whether this is in Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly format. Once entered, this entry should not be changed.

Total

The total days required for the resource.

For each Resource Person (indicated by ), the page lists these columns:

Name

The name of the resource that the Project Lead has requested.

State

The state of the resource. Values can be In Work, In Approval, Completed, and Rejected, depending on the state of the resource request. However, a resource request in the Draft state has resources in the In Work state.

Skill

The skill associated with the resource, which may be different from the skill specified on the resource request.

Resource Pool

The names of the resource pools that contain the resources. If the same resource exists in more than one resource pool, multiple names can be listed.

[Timeline]

For the FTE filter, the FTE value is calculated based on the following formula: FTE of a month on the timeline = (number of working days in that month for that request / total working days in that month) * requested FTE.
