Creating Interference Simulations using Knowledge Rules

You can create interference simulation using knowledge rule as specification.


Before you begin: Open a product that contains an interference.
  1. Select the required product in the tree.
  2. Click Create Interference Simulation .
    The Interference simulation dialog box appears.
  3. In the Interference simulation tab, enter a required name for the interference simulation.
  4. In the Context tab, select the context for the interference simulation.

    You can also create groups under the context.

  5. In the Specifications tab, enter the interference simulation specifications.
  6. Select the Activate check box in Knowledge rules specification.

  7. Click Search.
    The Object Selection dialog box appears.
  8. In the Object Selection dialog box, select an existing RuleSet that contains the required rules.
  9. Click OK.
    The Interference simulation dialog box appears.
  10. In the Specifications tab, ensure that the Launch computation now check box is selected under Options.
    By default, this check box is selected.
  11. Click OK.

The interference simulation is created based on the defined knowledge rules.
