Editing Interference Simulation Specifications

You can modify the specifications and the elements under the consideration to recompute the interference simulation.

This task shows you how to:

Edit Specifications in Authoring Mode

You can open the interference simulation and edit its specifications to recompute the interference simulation in the Interference Check app.

  1. From the Interference Analysis section of the action bar, select Edit specification .
The Interference simulation definition dialog box appears.
  2. In the Context tab, modify the context for the interference simulation computation.

You can modify the required values except for the interference simulation context product.

  3. In the Specifications tab, modify the specifications specified previously.
  4. Click OK.
If the Execute Simulation check box is selected, the interference simulation is updated. Else, you have to update the interference simulation manually.

Edit Specifications from Search Results

You can modify the interference simulation specifications and the context for the interference simulation from the search results, without opening an interference simulation.

Before you begin: Search the required interference.
  1. From the search results, right-click the interference simulation and select Edit specification .

Note: The command is available only if the interference simulation is not open in the session.

The Interference simulation definition dialog box appears.
  2. In the Context tab, modify the context for the interference simulation computation.

You can modify the required values except for the interference simulation context product.

Note: You are unable to add the occurrences in the existing groups.

  3. In the Specifications tab, modify the specifications specified previously.

If the Execute Simulation check box is selected, the interference simulation is executed in a batch mode and updated.
