Configuring Import from IFC format

You can import data from IFC format in the Piping & Tubing 3D Design app. This section describes the integration of the Piping & Tubing 3D Design data in the IFC format.

A mapping was created between the IFC types, 3D Piping types, and 3D Piping attributes. With the mapping tables, you can map a Property Set attribute to a 3D Piping attribute.

For more information about IFC import, see Converter for IFC User's Guide: Importing IFC Data.
