Customer Table and Customer Advanced Table

This section describes the Customer table and how you can customize it.

This page discusses:

Customer Table

Overview

This section provides a brief overview of the Customer table.

You can use this table to create your own lists of values. Such table is not directly used by the Piping & Tubing Design apps.

Table Description

By default, this table has only one default column that can be left empty. You can customize it with the values of your choice.

The Customer table below is an example.

When you set your Spool Rule table, only three values are available for the Behavior column. You can enter these values in the Customer table and then link the Behavior column to this column. Then, a list is displayed to enter the values in this column.

Default ColumnBehavior
-Forbidden in spool
-Border of spool
-Inside spool

The table has the following attribute:

Customer Advanced Table

Overview

This section provides a brief overview of the Customer Advanced table.

You can use this table to create your own rules. Such table is not directly used by the Piping & Tubing Design apps.

Table Description

By default, this table has only one default column that can be left empty. You can customize it with the values of your choice.

The Customer Advanced table below is an example.

In a piping/tubing context, if you want to check that the angles of the route of a complete product are included inside a specific range which can vary according to the nominal size and material, you can create the following table:

Nominal SizeMaterialMinAngleMaxAngle
1inStainless Steel10deg110deg
2inStainless Steel10deg110deg
3inStainless Steel30deg120deg

You can then add this table to an Engineering Specification and retrieve it from a knowledge rule to get the min and max angle values for a pipe/tube.

The table has the following attributes:

  • Standard
  • Max temperature
  • Min temperature
  • Max pressure
  • Min pressure
  • Fluid
  • Fluid Category
