Object Selection

In Piping & Tubing Design, depending on the selected object and whether you are in Assembly or in Reference only, different sections appear in the Data Information panel.

In Assembly

When you select an object in Assembly, the Data Information panel displays the following sections:


Selected Object	Sections	Condition
Equipment	Context Identity Applicative Information Logical Applicative Information
Line ID	Context Identity Line ID Properties	The sections appear if you select Part Mode.
Part	Context Identity Applicative Information Logical Applicative Information DS_Customer_Parameter Insulation Members Information Version Information Collaborative	The Logical Applicative Information section appears if you are in an RFLP session. The DS_Customer_Parameter section appears only if the parameter set with this name exists on the selected object. The Insulation Members Information section appears if you select Insulation Mode.
Pipe or Tube Port	Context Route Port Identity Applicative Information Logical Applicative Information Insulation Members Information Geometrical Information Branch Members Information Version Information Collaborative	The Logical Applicative Information section appears if you are in an RFLP session. The Branch Members Information section appears if you select Part Mode. The Insulation Members Information section appears if you select Insulation Mode.
Port	Context Port Identity Applicative Information Logical Applicative Information Insulation Members Information Version Information Collaborative	The Logical Applicative Information section appears if you are in an RFLP session. The Insulation Members Information section appears if you select Insulation Mode.
Product	Context Identity Version Information Collaborative
Pipe or Tube	Context Identity Applicative Information Logical Applicative Information Geometrical Information Branch Members Information Insulation Members Information Version Information Collaborative	The Logical Applicative Information section appears if you are in an RFLP session. In Reference only, you can select only three types of objects. Depending on your selection, the Data Information panel displays the following sections:
