From the Fluid Design section of the action bar,
select Part Mode
as process
mode.

From the Selection Options dialog box, select Part
Selection
.

Select the route you want to split.

On the context toolbar, click Split Route
.
Note:
Directional and 2-point-port nodes are not displayed.

Select the segment of the route where you want to split.
The nearest node becomes the reference point and the ruler appears.

Drag the green dot, and drop it at the required location to split the route.

From the Split Route panel, click to validate.
The route is split at the selected point.
Note:
The Split Route command is not available between port points and directional points.
Notes:
Splitting a route can impact the insulation applied on
this route. It can be:
- a direct impact: you split the route on a location where insulation has been applied.
Then the insulation will be split and will keep the same attributes value.
- an indirect impact: you split the route on a location where insulation has not been
applied but the link to the reference point is cut. In this case, the link to the
reference point must be rerouted to the new end of the route.
