3D Electrical components catalogs
|
Catalog |
No |
_ |
By declaring your electrical catalog in the Data Setup, you can build your product
definition. The PLMSetup allows the definition of favorite electrical
catalog resources. These catalogs are shared by all the electrical
commands. |
Electrical Catalog Chapter
|
Chapter |
No |
_ |
Allows to declare the 3D Electrical components'
catalog chapter. |
3D Electrical components libraries
|
General Library |
No |
_ |
Allows to declare the 3D Electrical components'
libraries. |
Electrical Library Class
|
General Class |
No |
_ |
Allows to declare the 3D Electrical library classes.
|
Compatibility Table
|
Text document |
No |
_ |
Specifies different rules for conductor routing.
|
Electrical Port Subtype
|
Sheet |
No |
Subtype Filter |
Defines Subtype attribute values for an electrical
port (or cavity). |
Branch Definition Table
|
Sheet |
No |
Resource Criteria |
Defines the following branch attributes to enable the
automatic creation of a branch with known values:
Attributes |
Additional Information
|
Identifier |

Profile and profile dimensions |
For Truncated Rectangle
profiles:
- Dimension1 represents the Major Width
attribute, Dimension2 represents the Major Height
attribute, Dimension3 represents the Minor Width
attribute, and Dimension4 represents the Minor
Height attribute.
- Authorized values for the CornerPosition
attribute are TOP_LEFT, TOP_RIGHT, BOTTOM_LEFT,
and BOTTOM_RIGHT.

Separation code |
The separation code attribute
can be defined on a branch prior to using the
Branch Definition Table . In such
case, a filter box is available in the
Resource preview to allow
you to display only the resources which have the
same separation code as the one that was
individually defined. The separation code can be
defined manually or using the Segment
Separation Code resource. |
Description |
Adding information in the
Description column is optional. This attribute can
be used to briefly describe the resource. |
The following example illustrates the sheet organization:

Segment Separation Code
|
Text document |
No |
Resource Criteria |
Lists predefined separation code values for segments. This resource
allows to define the same separation code for all segments within a
branch in one go. It also allows you to define priority when routing
conductors or cables.
Note:
In the text document, values must be listed in rows.
For more information, see Electrical 3D Part Design Users'
Guide: Using Immersive Branch Definition: Immersive Branch
Definition Concepts: About Branch and Segment Properties.
