You can define the following general settings:
- The melt temperature, which is the temperature at which polymer material enters at the
injection locations.
- The default mold temperature, which is a uniform value applied everywhere in the mold. This
value is overridden by any mold wall conditions that you define and by results from
a Mold step.
- The ejection temperature, which is the temperature below which you can safely eject the part
from the mold.
- The gravity direction, which is the downward direction in which gravity acts.
- The mold-melt heat transfer coefficient, which describes the amount of heat transfer that
occurs between the polymer material and the mold wall.
- The part insert temperature, which is the temperature of the part insert before starting the
Fill and Pack analysis.
