Defining an Injection Location

You can define injection locations to specify where the plastic enters the part cavity. You must have at least one injection location.

Defining a Surface-Based Injection Location

You can define injection locations using geometric surfaces of your model.

  1. From the Setup section of the action bar, click Injection Location .
  2. Optional: Enter a descriptive Name.
  3. Specify Surface as the type as the type of injection location.
  4. Specify the geometric surface where you want to place the injection location.

    You can select only one surface for each injection location definition.

  5. Click OK.
