About Simulation Results Deletion
  1. From the Results section of the action bar, click Delete Simulation Results .

Tip: Alternatively, you can delete results for one or more simulation objects directly from a 3DEXPERIENCE search query. From the context menu of the simulation object, select Delete results.

  2. Select one or more analysis cases to delete simulation results.
  3. Select one or both of the following:
    OptionDescription
Delete Experience content Delete all simulation experience content (that is, the lightweight subset of results data). Experience content includes the default set of model, scenario, and results data for native simulations (that is, for simulations created in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform). It also contains a default set of contour and symbol plots for simulations created from imported .sim file (or "orphan") results.
Note: Checking this option also means that you can no longer browse the simulation data in the 3DPlay app. Deleting experience content disables 3DPlay for this simulation until you generate new content.
Delete/invalidate sensors data Select this option to invalidate knowledgeware parameters that were generated by sensors.

By default, the app deletes bulk data associated with the simulation, but experience content and sensor data are preserved.

  4. Click OK.
The Feature Manager and diagnostic viewer are updated accordingly. Results visualization is unavailable until the simulation is recreated or imported again. If the selected simulation was run from a structural app and run on a cloud server, the app also saves the simulation after deletion of the results.

Physics Results Explorer deletes the results of the selected analysis cases only. If you selected all analysis cases for deletion, Physics Results switches to a scenario app and the simulation must be solved again before returning to Results.
