Test Cases Page for a Test Execution

The Test Cases page for a test execution shows the test cases defined for that specific test execution.

To access this page:

  1. Open the required test execution. See Opening a Test Execution.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Test Cases.

Column NameDescription
NameThe name of the test case. Click to open the test case.
The status of the test case.

IconDescription
Overdue
Nearing the due date
Completed

LevelThe WBS level.
Revision The test case's revision number or code.
DescriptionThe detailed description of the test case.
Execution:
DateThe date the test case was executed.
ResultThe results of the test case: Not Validated, Validation Passed, or Validation Failed.
Click to open the test case in a new window.

Actions/Toolbar Commands

ActionDescription
Enable Edit Toggles the page into edit mode. In edit mode, you can update the Execution Results.
Disable Edit Toggles the page into read-only mode.
