Routing a Route with an Unconnected Extremity

In a diagram view, you can create a route with unconnected extremity.

Before you begin: In the tree, the following elements are created:
  • A logical reference under the Logical node is created.
  • A routable reference under the Logical node.
  • A component under the Logical node.

In an active diagram view, a component to be connected is placed.

  1. In the tree, right-click the routable and select Route in View.
  2. Select the component to connect.
A context toolbar appears, containing commands to create an elbow or a straight route line.
  3. Click an empty space to place the second extremity of the route.
  4. On the context toolbar, click End Route in Space.

The route with an unconnected extremity is created.
