Printing Diagram View Area

You can define an area of a diagram view and print it.


Before you begin: Open an existing diagram view.
  1. In the Custom Print dialog box, select a format in the Format list to change the size of the printing frame.
  2. In the diagram view, drag the frame on the area of the diagram view to be printed if needed.
  3. In the Orientation area, change the orientation if needed.
  4. If you have defined a frame symbol in the TitleBlock For Printing resource, it will appear in this list. Select the symbol in the list and click Update preview.
    The preview is updated with the appropriate frame symbol is selected according to the defined frame format and orientation.
  5. Click OK to launch the printing dialog box.

    Notes:
    • Printing properties can differ from one printer to another. Review the page setup (format and orientation) defined in the printer dialog box before launching the printing process.
    • When printing the content of a diagram view, lifecycle information (maturity, revision, ..etc.) cannot be displayed using text templates.
