Unloading Objects

You can unload objects from an assembly or a system if they are no longer used within the session. Unloading objects enables you to only display the useful objects and to free memory.

Warning:
  • The unload operation cannot be undone. To reload unloaded objects, reopen the data.
  • You cannot unload a root object in the tree.
  • The selected objects are unloaded in all edition tabs since there is only one memory for each session.

Before you begin: To avoid losing modifications, save the objects before unloading them.
  1. Select one or more objects.
  2. From the context menu, select Unload.
    A dialog box appears.
  3. To confirm the unload operation, click OK.
    The object is unloaded.
