Editing Line ID Extremities

You can use the Spreadsheet to display the connections of piping parts, pipe and line IDs, edit existing connections and create new ones.


Before you begin: Open the piping system to edit the connections.

Editing Properties in the Spreadsheet
  1. From the Edition section of the action bar, click Spreadsheet .
    The Spreadsheet opens, and the content of the active component is displayed.

  2. Select the line ID and click Display / Hide Additional Properties .
    Note: The value of the LineID Ends attribute is the line ID extremities that you defined.
  3. In the Additional Properties dialog box, select the LineID Ends box.
  4. Click and select a port.
    The selected object is listed in the editor.

    Tips:
    • If you want to add another port in the editor list, click and select the port.
    • You can click to remove previously selected port.
  5. Click the background to validate.

    Tip: When there is only one connection, you can read the name of the port in the LineID Ends box. Otherwise, when there is more than one connection, this box contains the Multiple attribute. If you move the pointer over the LineID Ends box, you can see the name and path of the ports.

  6. Close the Additional Properties dialog box and the Spreadsheet .

You can visualize the new connections.

Important: If you add connections and click Cancel , the last modifications are not be taken into account. To validate the last connections, click the background.
