Loading a PRA on a Revised System

When the system to be loaded has a PRA associated and is revised, you can automatically load the latest revised system in the current branch with its PRA.

If the analysis associated with the latest revised system exists, it is loaded, otherwise it is created before loading.

The loading or the creation of revisions of PRAs can be done automatically or semiautomatically. In this second case, a confirmation is required during the process.

These scenarios describe how to load or create an automatic PRA associated with a logical reference. The scenarios are identical for the other systems.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin:
  • Associate a PRA table with a logical reference and click Home to remove the logical reference loaded in the app.
  • Create revisions of the logical reference from Collaborative Lifecycle. To access Collaborative Lifecycle, the Collaborative Innovator role is required.

Load a Revision Semiautomatically

You can semiautomatically load a revision of a PRA, which can be a revision or a branch and associate it with the logical reference.

This scenario describes the case when no existing PRA is associated with the latest revision of the logical reference. It describes how to create a branch of a PRA and load it. The scenario is identical for a revision creation.

  1. In the widget preferences:
    1. In the Automatic revising of analysis list, select Semi automated.
    2. In the Revising based on list, select Branch mechanism.
  2. Drag the previous revision of the logical reference in the app.
    The logical reference is loaded with its associated PRA.
  3. Select the node representing the PRA in the Structure Tree.
  4. From the Edit section of the action bar, click Load/Unload Analysis .
    A message appears to let you create a branch of the PRA.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Optional: If the automatic save is deactivated, click Save from the Edit section of the action bar.
  7. Load the latest version of the model.

A branch of the PRA is created.

In the Structure Tree:

  • The latest revision of the logical reference is loaded.
  • The logical reference is associated with the newly created PRA branch.

Load a Revision Automatically

You can automatically load a revision of a PRA, which can be a revision or a branch and associate it with the logical reference.

This scenario describes the case when an existing PRA is associated with the latest revision of the logical reference. It describes how to load a revision of a PRA. The scenario is identical for a branch loading.

  1. In the widget preferences:
    1. In the Automatic revising of analysis list, select Fully automated.
    2. In the Revising based on list, select Revision mechanism.
  2. Drag the previous revision of the logical reference in the app.
  3. Load the latest version of the model.

In the Structure Tree:

  • The latest revision of the logical reference is loaded.
  • The logical reference is associated with the latest PRA revision.
