Assign Products and Use Smart Zoom

In this step, you will drag and drop more products from the tree on to Manufacturing Assembly tiles, and also assign products using the Smart Zoom capability.

  1. Press Ctrl + click the two products under the Handle assembly.
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift to drag the products and drop them onto the empty Manufacturing Assembly tile on the third level of the structure.
  3. Select the tile where you dropped the Handle products and press F6.
    The Smart Zoom is activated.

    The two Handle products are colored light blue: this corresponds to the Assigned directly status.

  4. Zoom and rotate the Chainsaw.
  5. Double-click the orange-colored CLUTCHCOVER product, which joins the two Handle products.
    The CLUTCHCOVER product is then assigned to the Manufacturing Assembly and is also colored light blue.
  6. Press F6 to exit the Smart Zoom mode.
