Fasteners Management
- Automatically Assign and Reassign Fasteners
- This option allows you to automatically assign fasteners that join parts. When you select
parts to assign, unassign, or reassign, all fasteners joining these

assembled.
Similarly, fasteners joining these parts with
already-assigned parts are assigned on the first parent Manufacturing Assembly where the parts are
assembled.
By default, the check box is
cleared.
- Use Same Fasten Step Reference to Implement Fasteners Having: Same
Diameter, Same Type, Same set of Joined Parts
- This option allows you to use the same Fasten step reference for
identical fasteners. Identical fasteners must have the same
diameter, type, and set of joined parts.
By default, the
check boxes are cleared.
Manufacturing Part Generation
- Initialize Fastener Industrialization
- When selected, Remove Material steps are created during Manufactured Part generation.
By default, the check box is selected.
- Mount Fastener Components

Manufactured Part Update Status
There are two capabilities for managing Manufactured Part update status:
- From Assembly Logic: in this case, the
manufactured part structure and the resulting product are
regenerated from the design and assembly logic.
- From Manufactured Part Structure: in this
case, the resulting product is regenerated from the manufactured
part structure only.
The following options allow you to choose between these capabilities:
- From Assembly Logic
- When selected:
- Item Update Status in the B.I.
Essentials panel has the following
behavior: If the Manufactured Part structure or the
resulting product is not up to date according to the design
and the assembly logic, the tile is blue. Otherwise, it is
green.
- and have the following behavior: The Manufactured Part manufactured part
structure and the resulting product are updated according to
the design and assembly logic.
- From Manufactured Part Structure
-
When selected:
- Item Update Status in the B.I.
Essentials panel has the
following behavior: If the Manufactured Part structure has been
modified since the last update, the tile is blue.
Otherwise, it is green.
- and have the following behavior: The
resulting products of the Manufactured Parts are updated
