Explore in Manufacturing Finder
- Do not display Explore in
Manufacturing Finder
dialog box anymore
- When this option is selected, the
Explore in Manufacturing Finder dialog box will
not be displayed when the
Explore in Manufacturing Finder command is
run. The
Explore in Manufacturing Finder dialog box
allows you to select either a new
Manufacturing Finder tab or the target
Manufacturing Finder tab where the selected
object is to be displayed.
By default, the check box is not selected.
- Explore within Context of Existing Roots
- When this option is selected:
- Only objects that are children of the already-explored roots
are added in the finder (no new root, except for objects of
a type that is not already explored). For example, if a
product is already explored, only children of this product
are explored. Other products that are parents of the product
root or that are not related to the product root are not
explored (if the option was not selected, they would have
been explored as new roots).
If no item is already
explored, one or several items can be explored as root
at the same time (multiselection, for example), and then
only children of these items will be explored.
- If a filter has been applied on a root, only child objects
matching the filter criteria are explored under the root.
Note:
If the option is selected when a Manufacturing Context Builder tab is already open, it
will be taken into account. However, if you clear the check box
when a tab is open, you must close the tab to effectively
disable the option.
By default, the check box is selected.
- Explore with parent tree
-
When this option is selected, it is taken into account in the
following contexts:
- From the
Explore Parents tab, in Instance/Reference
mode
- From any
Finder tab with a Product, Item
or Resource root
- From a
Finder tab with a PPR Context root
In these cases, the Explore in Manufacturing Finder
command builds the branch from the parent to the child
and inserts it at the correct position in the
Manufacturing Finder tab.
By default, the check box is not selected.
Explore with Filter
- Apply Engineering Filter by default
- When this option is selected, deactivated instances are filtered out each time an assembly
is explored.
By default, the check box is not selected.
Explore in Web App
Select the option:
- Immersive Experience whenever possible
- When this option is selected, CBP objects are opened in an
immersive experience whenever possible.
- External Web Browser
- When this option is selected, CBP objects are opened in an external
web browser.
By default, the
External Web Browser option is selected.
Explore Parents
- Display the 2D Thumbnails view
- When this option is selected, 2D thumbnails are displayed when you
use the
Explore Parents
command.
By default, the check box is selected.
- Display the 2D Tiles view
- When this option is selected, 2D tiles are displayed when you use
the
Explore Parents command.
By default, the check box is selected.
