3D Ground

The 3D Ground options let you customize line spacing, line color, line properties and shading options.

This page discusses:

Line Spacing

To modify the first direction (along the x-axis) line spacing, in the First direction field, enter a spacing value.

If you have unlinked the first and second direction line spacing, then, to modify the second direction (along the y-axis) line spacing, in the Second direction field, enter a spacing value.

By default, Line Spacing is set to 10 (values linked) and the unit is millimeter.

Warning: For large models, the default spacing could be too small, which will perturb the visualization of the ground.
Tip: To unlink the Line Spacing values, click the link icon and set the values individually.

Line Color

To modify the color of primary lines, in the Primary lines color palette, choose a color.

If you have unlinked the primary and secondary curve line color, then, to modify the color of secondary lines, in the Secondary lines color palette, choose a color.
