Calculator Preferences
- Display Mode
- Choose the default editor mode: Expand or
Collapse.
By default, The editor opens in
Expand mode.
- Allow exceptional values (NaN, Infinity)
- By default, the Calculator adapter stops and displays an error if any function or
operator returns a real result with an exceptional value. The exceptional values are
Inf, -Inf, or NaN. If you do not select this option, the Calculator adapter continues
and returns the exceptional values.
OS Command Preferences
- Consider execution failed if there is output to Standard Error Stream
- The adapter automatically enables the option to consider the execution failed if any
output is written to the Standard Error Stream. Some programs (for example, Abaqus) write output to the standard error stream even when it was a successful execution.
For convenience, it can be useful to clear this option, which specifies the default
values in any new OS command adapter. This option is selected by default, and can be
edited in the Execution Options of the OS Command
Editor.
Monte Carlo Preferences
- Preselect all statistics to create output parameters
- In Optimization Process Composer,
a
Monte Carlo simulation creates output parameters for selected statistical measures.
Select this option to automatically designate all statistical measures to add an output
parameter. You can select or clear statistics for parameter creation from the
Statistics tab of the Monte Carlo
Editor.
