Synchronization Report Repository
- Path
- Lets you specify the folder path where the HTML files of the synchronization
report are saved.
By default, this field contains:
...\DassaultSystemes\CATTemp. You can browse another path.
Configuration Management
- Extract the variability space
- Extracts the variability space from the 3D design into the 3D flatten and
synchronizes it only once as it is not possible to change the value of the
variability space after affectation.
During the synchronization, the
variability space of the parent element is checked and automatically
synchronized along with the effectivity of the child element. The
effectivity of instance is synchronized only if the parent product has a
variability space:
- The effectivity of 3D design is read and compared to the
effectivity of 3D flatten, if it is included inside, the flatten
effectivity is maintained.
- The effectivity of 3D design is read and compared to the
effectivity of 3D flatten, if it is NOT included, the flatten
effectivity will be replaced by the same effectivity of 3D
design.
For more information about variability space and effectivity in 3D
flatten, see Electrical Manufacturing Preparation User Guide: Synchronizing the Environment: Synchronizing the
Configuration of Electrical Elements.
When the check box is cleared, the variability space is not extracted,
the parent element has no variability space and the effectivity is not
synchronized during this extract. A message appears in the
Synchronization Report. See Electrical Manufacturing Preparation User Guide: Synchronizing the Environment: Working with the
Synchronization Report.
It allows you to define your own variability space in 3D flatten. You can
either copy effectivities from 3D design or add manufacturing
effectivities on product for example. Finally you can synchronize.
By default, this check box is selected.
Warning message on branch split in Rotate and Arrange
Junction command will be
Displays a warning message on branch split according
to the selected frequency:
- Always shown
- Shown
- Never Shown
For more information about the Rotate,Arrange
Junction commands and the branch split, see Electrical Manufacturing Preparation User's Guide: Preparing the Layout: Rotating Segments and
Arranging Junctions.
By default, the Shown check box is selected.
Electrical Dimension
- Type of dimension
- Allows you to select the type of curvilinear dimension, when you select the
measure points in the 3D area:
- Measure Point is always the middle of support and protection
- Considers the middle of the support or protection as the only measure point
on the support or protection.
For more information, see Electrical Manufacturing Preparation User's Guide: Creating and Removing Electrical Dimensions.
By default, this check box is cleared.
- Dimension Offset
-
Lets you specify the offset distance of the distance line from the
dimensioning element.
By default, the dimension offset is 20 mm.
2D Dress-Up
- Keep numbering of section when updating dress-up
- Keeps the same numbering of section views when updating the dress-up.
By default, this check box is cleared.
Copilot management
- Show copilot
- Shows the copilot when using the Rotate and
Roll commands from the Prepare Layout
command.
By default, this check box is cleared.
Rotate action
- Pivot point identification by proximity
- Detects the pivot which is nearest to the pointer while rotating the
branches.
By default, this check box is cleared.
Segment name display
Lets you specify the name of the segment to be displayed.
- Segment name
- Displays the name of the segment.
- this option is selected.
- Branch name
- Displays the name of the parent branch.
- Segment name/branch name
- Displays the combined name of the segment and is parent branch.
