Gantt Solve Options
This option allows you to control how inconsistencies are resolved when you start the
Resolve command on an operation or a system.
- None
- If an inconsistency is detected, it cannot be automatically solved. The
Resolve command is unavailable on an operation or a
system.
By default, this option is selected.
- Redistribute Track durations equally
- If an inconsistency is detected, the duration of all the Tracks under the
operation are modified. The operation duration is distributed equally to all the
Tracks, so that the total Tracks sequence's duration equals the parent operation's
duration.
By default, this option is not selected.
- User defined behavior
- This option's behavior depends on whether the
DELFITGanttOperationDuration.CATRule
business logic is provided:
- If the
DELFITGanttOperationDuration.CATRule
business logic is
provided, the operation is resolved according to the method defined in the
business logic.Note:
Information on the
DELFITGanttOperationDuration.CATRule
business logic is
available in the Assembly Evaluation and Assembly Path Optimization guides > Reference Information > CATRule to Define the Inconsistency
Resolution Criteria for Operations.
The following message
appears: "The time type and duration of the operation has been modified as per
the rules defined by the user."
- If no business logic is provided:
- If the type of time of the operation is "Estimated", the operation's
duration is replaced by the total track sequence's duration.
- Else, the operation's duration is unchanged.
By default, this option is not selected.
